Sixteen-year-old Sara Kachel is excited. Under the bright dance studio lights, she twirls around, inviting everybody to join her and her action figure of Jacob from the “Twilight” movies. According to her mother, Charlene Kachel, she is in her element.
“She loves to dance, she’s so happy right now,” she said.
Kachel is one of those in attendance Saturday morning at a dance workshop for students of all abilities conducted by the New York City Ballet and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in association with the National Museum of Dance School of the Arts and the Cerebral Palsy Association of New York. The workshop took place at the School of the Arts dance studio.
