Nominations Open For The $500,000 WISE Prize For Education

Nominations for the WISE Prize for Education for 2020 are open. They close on the first of February 2021.

And while there are many – and at the same time too few – education lists, awards and prizes, the WISE Prize is in a different league, due mostly to its magnitude and growing reputation. WISE winners, known as Laureates, receive worldwide recognition, a gold medal and $500,000.

That’s a big deal in any field. In the often overlooked and under-resourced world of education, an award of that size is spell-binding. According to the award presenters, it was designed to be.
