Coursera Expands Its Guided Projects Line

Coursera, a leading online learning platform and one of the pioneers of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCS)), announced today that it’s expanding its Guided Project product. Now, its enterprise customers – the universities, businesses and governments that are Coursera’s biggest users – will be able to author and offer their own private guided projects tailored to a company’s and its employees’ needs. The private projects will focus on the tools, technologies, and skills that specific employers want their employees to acquire.

It’s the latest initiative the company has launched since the coronavirus pandemic disrupted so much traditional in-person instruction and training at higher education institutions around the world. For example, back in April, the company announced the Coursera Workforce Recovery Initiative, aimed at workers in the U.S. and other countries who found themselves out of work because of the pandemic……………………………………………………………..
