Guidelines for the Monitoring of National Education Budgets

Acknowledgments

These guidelines have been prepared by secretariat of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) to facilitate dialogue at the country level for effective monitoring of domestic resource allocation to the education sector. The guidelines were developed through a consultative process involving representatives from GPE develop- ing country partners, development partners, educa- tion finance experts, civil society organizations, and research organizations. A peer review group was estab- lished representing various education stakeholders and Partnership constituencies.
