Children with difficulties or disabilities have long been overlooked or excluded from Cambodia’s education system – that could change with the opening of the country’s first school dedicated to their learning and new government backed teacher training manuals.

From the outside, it looks like any other international school: a designated drop off zone yielding to an entrance decked in posters in primary colours boldly stating “determination”, “potential”, “success” among its learning aspirations…
