Advancing Inclusive Education: Snapshot on the Equitable Education Alliance's Approaches and Interventions for Out-of-School Children and Youth (OOSCY)

Abstract

This snapshot aims to provide insights into Equitable Education Alliance’s (EEA) approaches to inclusive education for Out-of-School Children and Youth (OOSCY) and how embedding flexible learning strategies facilitates re-entry into education and empowers individuals to pursue lifelong learning.

This snapshot was led by the UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok and the Office for UN Coordination for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCO Bangkok) and the Equitable Education Fund Thailand (EEF) as co-chairs of the EEA under the Learning and Education 2030+ Network for SDG4 coordination in Asia and the Pacific.

The EEA is an international network of governments, civil society, and private sector actors that has emerged as an important platform for promoting inclusive and equitable education. The alliance strengthens education systems and equitable education by facilitating knowledge exchange, advocacy, building capacity, and strategic partnerships.
