Brighter Building is an interactive offline game designed to enhance learning of mathematics and physics formulas for secondary school students. It takes the form of a memory game with interactive activities. The platform helps develop memory and concentration skills while making learning fun by promoting self-learning without time or place restrictions. It is free of charge, helping reduce financial barriers for users, and can expand learning access to communities with limited educational personnel and resources, as well as disadvantaged communities.

Principles and reasons
The game content focuses on mathematics and physics formulas at the secondary school level, based on the IGCSE curriculum. This curriculum aligns with those used in Thai schools and international schools in Thailand. The principles and reasons for the game design are as follows:
Principles
- It is an educational innovation that combines entertainment with mathematics and physics formula content.
- The game uses a multiple-choice format with four answer options, only one of which is correct. This format promotes concentration and active participation through the use of multiple senses.
- The game is presented in English because variables in mathematics and physics formulas, according to the general education curriculum, are typically written in English. In addition, the Ministry of Education encourages students to begin learning English from kindergarten to prepare for higher education, especially for those who plan to study abroad.
- The memory game challenges players to recall formulas by displaying scores on the screen, motivating continuous engagement and improvement.
Reasons
- It provides players with opportunities to develop skills and engage in self-directed learning to support their studies in school.
- It promotes learning from mistakes. Students who answer incorrectly can recognize and remember their errors without fear of negative consequences, helping them develop patience and problem-solving skills.
- Students can identify their strengths and areas for improvement, encouraging continuous practice and positive learning habits.
Objectives
- To create learning opportunities for children who do not have access to the education system, to enable them to learn independently and be motivated.
- To directly support students’ learning to supplement the content they learn in class.
- To allow players to learn in the classroom or choose a suitable time at home or elsewhere.
- To allow players to learn formulas in a fun way. When they practice frequently, they will remember them more accurately and apply them to various problems, effectively reinforcing the content they are learning.
- To promote independence and self-directed ability. The game allows players to develop their learning skills and abilities.
Problems or benefits/reasons to develop the program
Problems
There is a significant number of out-of-school children. Students whose minimum skill levels in mathematics and science fall below the standard account for up to 40–50% of all students, placing them among the lowest performers in the East Asia and Pacific region. In addition, PISA test results report that the average scores in both subjects for Thai students have declined since 2020.
Benefits
- It is a free learning formula platform for users, creating educational access for out-of-school children, underserved communities, and the underprivileged.
- It develops learning skills in mathematics and physics.
- It promotes problem-solving, emotional, and social skills while creating a fun and effective learning environment.
- Teachers and/or staff can distribute it without limitation to reach a wider audience.
- Users can practice formulas anywhere, anytime.
