The Global Education Monitoring Report and Education International have developed an advocacy brief for teachers based on the 2023 GEM Report, Technology in Education: A Tool on Whose Terms?

This advocacy brief has two main objectives:
  1. Highlight Key Findings: To present some of the major findings of the 2023 GEM Report to teachers.
  2. Provide Recommendations: To offer guidance for teachers and education support personnel to ensure that technology in education prioritizes learners and teachers.
In collaboration with Education International, the Global Education Monitoring Report aims to ensure that technology use in education aligns with the needs and terms of the 32 million teachers and education support personnel worldwide. The goal is for technology to complement, rather than replace, human interaction in education.
