The education system across the world desperately needs to shift towards a curriculum that can build not just ardent workers or citizens who can keep the system running, but rather citizens who are “global” in the truest sense. We need future citizens who will not only look after themselves but also be actively concerned for the welfare of others and the planet as a whole.
