Purpose and importance of this meeting

Globally, inequity in education remains a major barrier to sustainable development. Youth NEET and OOSCY trends continue to challenge progress toward SDG 4 (inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning for all). This meeting aims to strengthen collective action through practical strategies, peer learning, and partnerships.

Objectives of the 12th EEA Closed-Door Meeting

  • Improve regional and international cooperation to address educational inequity for youth at risk, including youth NEETs and OOSCY.

  • Enhance institutional capacity of EEA members to apply good practices and knowledge in local contexts.
